Tome of Horrors Complete Miniatures Press Release

CENTER STAGE TO PRODUCE MINIATURES BASED ON "TOME OF HORRORS COMPLETE" BY FROG GOD GAMES

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Poulsbo, WA, (April 26th 2013)Center Stage Miniatures signed a 5-year contract today with Frog God Games to produce 28mm Heroic Scale fantasy miniatures based on the award-winning "Tome of Horrors Complete." The line will launch with a new Kickstarter from Center Stage Miniatures on May 1st.

"There are over 800 monsters possible in the Tome of Horrors Complete," said Matthew Solarz, owner of Center Stage Miniatures, "including many iconic creatures from old-school fantasy and some newer monsters as well. This Kickstarter will help get as many of these miniatures as possible into gamers hands as quickly as we can."

Bill Webb, CEO of Frog God Games, said that partnering with Center Stage for the Tome of Horrors Complete range was the next logical step after discussing Razor Coast. Frog God Games announced earlier this week that Center Stage would be producing a line for the Razor Coast mega campaign based on the works by Nicholas Logue.

"Center Stage Miniatures is a leader in the production of old-school fantasy miniatures," said Rachel Ventura, VP of Sales & Marketing, "Their commitment to quality and to the old-school feel of fantasy RPGs made them a natural for this project."

Tome of Horrors Complete miniatures will be sculpted in 28mm Heroic scale so that they are compatible with the largest possible selection of miniatures on the market today, Solarz added.

CENTER STAGE MINIATURES SIGNS CONTRACT WITH FROG GOD GAMES

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Poulsbo, WA, (April 21st 2013)Center Stage Miniatures signed contracts with Frog God Games, LLC this week to produce a range of 28mm heroic scale miniatures based on Frog God Games’ Razor Coast campaign setting. Razor Coast, created by Nicholas Logue, is a dark fantasy pirate campaign setting laced in gothic horror and nautical nightmares.

“Center Stage has been looking into options to create pirate miniatures for years,” said Matthew Solarz, president of CSM, “and Mr. Logue has been one of my favorite contemporary RPG writers since his Crown of the Kobold King (by Paizo Publishing). Being able to produce miniatures for a pirate setting – and one created by Nick in particular – is a dream come true.”

Rachel Ventura, VP of Sales & Marketing for Frog God Games, said “several fans have asked for more miniatures for Razor Coast. Some backers were equally disappointed we weren’t able to add on more miniatures during the Razor Coast Kickstarter. Center Stage Miniatures presents us with a solution to offering high quality miniatures for this mega-campaign”.

Legendary fantasy artist Jennell Jaquays will be penciling concept sketches of all forthcoming Razor Coast miniatures, Solarz said. The first two miniatures in the Razor Coast range will be available at GenCon 2013.

The Frog God's Post

Welcome everyone to the first annual Swords and Wizardry appreciation day! Its great to see so many gaming enthusiasts embracing the style of play that Gary Gygax invented, and Matt Finch helped restore to the gaming community. We at Frog God Games have been lucky enough to be one of the companies to help bring the old school game back to mainstream. The success of our products are only due to you, the Grognard Gamer, who has supported us in reimagining the days of yesteryear, when men and magic fought outdoor and wilderness encounters. All those little brown books that are falling apart of preciously nested on bookshelves in plastic, too valuable for everyday use, can now be retired from play (although I still frequently use my "play copies"), and new books can take their place at the table. Returned are the days of dungeon crawling, gaining experience from gold, and save or die.

We want to thank all the other OSR publishers, miniature makers and others who have embraced the roll of the dice rather than the clicking of keyboards and mice.

We were overwhelmed by the support from the hundred plus bloggers who offered to help with this, so overwhelmed in fact that we decided to offer (for a limited time only) a 25% discount off our Swords and Wizardry line. Now is a great time to pick up those missing pieces in your Frog God Games collection while supplies last (and we are running quite low on some titles). Thank you again for the outstanding support of Swords and Wizardry, and for the OSR community as a whole.

We hope to see you all in Dallas at North Texas RPG Con so we can raise a glass, roll some dice, and party like its 1975! And remember, "Go back to the tormenter, or through the arch, and the second great hall you'll discover".

Hope to see you at my table soon!

Bill Webb

Call for Swords & Wizardry Bloggers

Erik Tenkar of Tenkar’sTavern has gotten together with Christopher Helton of Dorkland to set up a Swords & Wizardry Appreciation Day on April 17th 2013 and we want YOU to participate.  If you have a blog or website, please join us on this day. All that we ask is that you post something related to Swords & Wizardry such as play reports, thoughts about the system, random table, new monster, spells, magic items, an encounter, reviews - whatever you want to write.

Erik will be awarding one random blogger that joins and posts a $10 credit to RPGNow, enough to land a PDF copy of Swords & Wizardry Complete, one of Frog God's Swords & Wizardry adventures or anything else. He is also adding another three $5 credit into the gift pool.

Frog God Games is offering the "winning" blogger the Swords & Wizardry PDF of their choice from Monstrosities, Tome of Horrors SW, Rappan Athuk SW or the upcoming Razor Coast. Erik, Chris, and Matt will decide the "winner". Plus a handful of bloggers will be selected to give away free Grimmsgate modules to their readers.

To participate please email Erik with subject "S&W Appreciation Day" and let him know your first name, your blog's name, and the blog link. Lastly, include a blog description that is "5 words or less".

Bloggers can then download any of the Swords & Wizardry Blog Badges, Images, or Logos from the bottom of the homepage of Frog God Games: http://www.talesofthefroggod.com/
